Fertility support with hypnotherapy...
Hypnosis and preconceptual care
Considering starting a family is an important time in your life hypnotherapy can help to balance your mind and body ready for conception (including IVF) and a healthy pregnancy.
How can hypnosis help?
It can help reduce everyday stress and anxiety that can have an adverse effect on your hormone balance.
Mind/body techniques such as visualisation and relaxation can contribute to improving your emotional and physical well-being which compliment fertility.
It is posible to identify and resolve issues conscious or sub-conscious that may be getting in the way of conception.
It can provide emotional support after previous miscarriage, or traumatic birth experiences.
It can reduce the emotional and the negative effects that are experienced as a result of fertility problems and restore the trust in your body.
It can help you through the process of IVF by helping you relax and reduce excessive worry and negative self-talk.
It can help you restore health after failed IVF attempts and help you recover from IVF medication and begin to trust your body again.

If you would like more information or a confidential consultation please do not hesitate to contact me.
IVF and hypnosis
The use of hypnosis was shown in the research detailed below that the use of hypnosis during embryo transfer may significantly improve the IVF/ET outcome in terms of increased implantation and clinical pregnancy rates. Furthermore it seems the patient’s attitude to treatment was more favourable. See research paper below:
