About Hypnosis

Hypnotherapy is a safe effective way of helping overcoming and managing psychological and physical problems, changing behaviour and successfully reaching your goals. It can remove the barriers that hold you back and it can increase your confidence and feelings of well-being.

During a session

You will be seated comfortably and then asked to relax physically and mentally. To help you I will talk you through relaxing your body first and then techniques to relax your mind.

Happy and Relaxed

This fully relaxed 'day dream focussed ' like state is 'hypnosis' and when relaxed like this the mind becomes more susceptible to suggestion and making the changes that you want to achieve or address the problems you wish to resolve.

 

During a session you do not lose consciousness 'trance' is better described as a ' focussed day dream '  state, it is described as very relaxing and most people enjoy the feeling.  Most people find the experience pleasant and relaxing and afterwards feel energized and positive.
